Passenger Safety Paramount to Jucy New Zealand Car Hire And Campervan Rentals

How do Jucy Rentals cars and campervans provide maximum safety to its clients?

The Jucy fleet in New Zealand is made up of over 1500 cars and campervans. With a mix of both new and used vehicles we place a large emphasis on servicing procedures and most importantly safety.

How does Jucy maintain its fleet in quality condition?Every Jucy rental vehicle regardless of age and mileage is serviced through both internal and handpicked external workshops every 15,000km (approx 3 months).

Our servicing procedures ensure that all areas of the rental car and/or campervan hire are inspected and servicing requirements are carried out. Combined with our internal pre-hire inspections, our goal is to minimize any potential issues while our clients are enjoying their New Zealand travel adventure.

In the unlikely event that there is any problem while on the road we offer 24 hours road side assistance with the New Zealand Automobile Association (AA) and over 100 approved service centress around New Zealand.

What is Jucy doing about carbon emissions?

With the ever increasing awareness of carbon emissions throughout the world (contributor to global warming), we are always looking at ways of reducing our "Carbon footprint"

We also owe it big time to preserve the natural beauty of Aotearoa and maintain its pristine environmental glory in every possible way.

Not only do we have a responsibility to reduce our footprint but we also believe that our clients want to share in this responsility. We are now also able to offer one of the most efficient cars available in the market, latest generation Daihatsu Sirions.

What is special about Daihatsu Sirion

According to carpages.co.uk, no rival can beat the new Sirion's outstanding performance, economy and emissions balance which further establishes Daihatsu as a world leader in environmentally conscious cars. despite being a 5 seater the Sirion has a top speed just under 100 mph, yet returns 64.2 mpg on the Extra Urban C, and has the lowest CO 2 emissions of any car in its class at 118g/km.

The Sirion 1.3 litre manual which makes up 30% of the Jucy fleet has the world's first self-regenerating catalyst - a device that removes particulate carbon and residual hydrocarbonaceous material from the engine exhaust.

The self-regenerating catalyst  effectively extends the life of the catalytic converter, reducing maintenance costs and it is kinder to the environment as it keeps the catalyst 'healthier' over a higher mileage meaning the already low 140 g/km does not increase as the engine becomes older.

In layman terms, this technology ensures a longer working life and reduced maintenance bills. The system means the car retains its low emissions over a much higher mileage than other cars too.

Toyota, that owns Daihatsu is carbon neutral û another of the reasons we have chosen this car for our fleet.

I am sure that the rigorous checks we adopt to ensure the quality of our car hire and campervan rentals will go a long way in ensuring that our clients will have a hassle free and most importantly s a safe and secure trip around beautiful New Zealand.
